6th International Maritime Congress
The 6th International Maritime Congress was held on June 15-16, 2018 in Szczecin. The 20 debates and panel discussions were attended by managers from the maritime industry, scientists, representatives of ministries: Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation and Investment and Development Ministry of Infrastructure. The event was co-hosted by Marek Gróbarczyk, Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, who delivered the keynote speech.
About the 6th Congress
Letter of intent
An important event reported by the media was the ceremonial signing of a Letter of Intent regarding the scope and form of the transfer of supervision of the Szczecin Shipyard and the Gryfia Repair Yard to the Ministry of Maritime Economy. The letter was signed on June 15 by Pawel Kolczynski, president of the Company Development Fund, and Leszek Milczarek, acting president of the MS Investment Fund Company.
World Sea Days
The 6th International Maritime Congress accompanied the World Maritime Day celebrations organized by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Inland Shipping and the International Maritime Organization.
