The International Maritime Congress in Szczecin is one of the most important events dedicated to the maritime economy in Poland
and the Baltic Sea region. Each edition brings together representatives of public administration, business, academia, and industry experts, serving as a platform for debate on key directions for the development of the maritime sector, including port infrastructure, security, and the energy transition.
This year’s edition of the Congress, co-organized by the Ministry of Infrastructure and others, will provide an opportunity to discuss the most important challenges facing the Polish maritime economy—from the development of ports and access infrastructure, through security issues, to innovation and new technologies.
The Ministry of Infrastructure, as a co-organizer of the event, will be represented by Secretary of State Arkadiusz Marchewka, who is responsible within the ministry for maritime affairs and inland navigation.
The Deputy Minister’s presence underscores the significance of the event and the importance of cooperation between the public administration, the private sector, and the expert community. For years, the Maritime Congress has served as a forum for developing concrete recommendations and action plans aimed at fostering the growth of Poland’s maritime economy and strengthening its position in Europe.
