Sześć dotychczasowych edycji pozwoliło zbudować i ugruntować Kongresowi Morskiemu markę rozpoznawalną w Polsce i na świecie. Corocznie bierze w nim udział średnio ponad 300 firm i instytucji z 15 krajów. Rolę Kongresu podkreślają uczestniczący w nim najważniejsi politycy w Polsce – na czele z prezesem i wiceprezesem Rady Ministrów, marszałkiem Sejmu RP i ministrami właściwymi dla gospodarki morskiej. Wydarzenie dostrzegane jest również przez władze europejskie – Parlament i Komisję Europejską. Aktywny udział w obradach biorą również przedstawiciele międzynarodowych organizacji morskich.
Dyskutowano na temat inicjatywy Trójmorza, współpracy portów, bezpieczeństwa w branży morskiej, przemysłu stoczniowego, żeglugi, kształcenia kadr oraz wykorzystania nowych technologii takich jak 5G, VR i sztucznej inteligencji.
Jedno z najważniejszych wydarzeń gospodarki morskiej w Polsce odbyło się 5 i 6 września w Szczecinie. Wezieli w nim udział menedżerowie najważniejszych firm w branży, przedstawiciele rządu, naukowcy, eksperci z Polski i zagranicy.
